Reece Taylor, Soloist

Originally from Fontana, CA, Reece began his ballet training at 18 with Inland Pacific Ballet Academy in Montclair, CA. There, he swiftly rose through the ranks of Academy Apprentice to Principal and eventually took on the role of Ballet Master, assisting in the artistic and technical growth of the company. His training also includes intensive programs with Alonzo King’s LINES Ballet and the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater.
Reece has since dedicated his career to teaching and performing across Southern California, where he has worked with students of all ages and contributed to productions in ballet, musical theater, and commercial projects. His notable roles include Cavalier in The Nutcracker, the Prince in The Little Mermaid, Phaedra in La Cage aux Folles, and Mr. Mistoffelees in CATS. This is his first season with Golden State Ballet.
Reece also holds a BA in Creative Writing from the University of California, Riverside.
