ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
CHILD ATTENDANCE POLICY:
THE NUTCRACKER: The Nutcracker is most magical for children ages 3 and up. Please note: No children under 3, including babes in arms. Any child attending should be able to sit quietly through a performance.
ALL OTHER REPERTORY SEASON PERFORMANCES: Repertory Season performances are usually best enjoyed by children ages 8 and up. Please note: No children under 5, including babes in arms. These performances, including story ballets, are often longer than two hours and are not always ideal for younger children.
ALL PERFORMANCES: If any child is under the age requirement, you may be reseated to the closest aisle seat available at management’s discretion.
Consider selecting an aisle seat when bringing your children in case a quick exit is needed for an unavoidable visit to the restroom, or for a talkative or restless child. Please be aware that if you leave your seat, it is unlikely that you will be able to return to it while the performance is in progress; you may need to wait until the next intermission.
Everyone entering the theatre, regardless of age, must have a ticket, and children must occupy their own seat next to an accompanying adult. No lap sitting.
Please note that anyone (of any age) creating a disturbance will be asked to leave the auditorium out of respect for other guests, and tickets will not be refunded. Again, no refund of tickets will be made. For convenience, the lobby includes monitors of the performance to allow those outside of the auditorium to continue watching the ballet without disturbing the other audience members. We thank you for your understanding and respect for the performers and your fellow patrons.

THEATRE & SEATING POLICIES:
To ensure a relaxed experience, we suggest arriving 30 minutes prior to curtain as performances begin promptly at the announced start time.
For the enjoyment of the majority of our patrons who arrive on time, and in deference to the artists, latecomers will not be admitted to the auditorium until there is an appropriate pause in the performance. During some productions, this pause may not occur until the end of the first act.
All casting is subject to change.
For your own safety and the safety of other patrons, please do not exit the theatre before the house lights are up.
Any unauthorized use of cameras and recording equipment in the theatre during a performance is strictly prohibited.
Please silence all noise making devices.
Please direct all policy questions to boxoffice@goldenstateballet.org
